“Walking In Truth”

Each Prayer Diary has an overall theme, in this case, 'Walking In Truth'.

"Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your Truth."
Psalm 86.11

For each day there is an overall HIV/AIDS topic to bring before God in intercession. This is followed by a passage from Scripture relating to the theme followed by a prayer to guide our intercession.

In the Prayer Diaries that we send out by email and post to our signed up intercessors, we include also, the details of the specific individuals and organisations who have requested that we intercede for them. These details have been removed from the this web version to protect the individuals confidentiality.

MONDAY

Our Intercessors around the world

 
"Send forth your light and your truth, let them guide me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. Then will I go to the altar of God." Psalm 43.3-4

Lord, guide us by your light and your truth to the place where you dwell so that we may bring to you those who have HIV/AIDS who are on our hearts. We lift them up to your altar for your healing love to touch their lives and make them whole.

Women and Children affected by HIV/AIDS

 
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on you do know him and have seen him." John14.6-7

Thank you Lord, that none of us are orphans, that all of us have a wonderful heavenly Father. Help us Lord to absorb this truth. Help us to understand that we can know the Father and see him through Jesus.

Bless you Lord,that you have gone before us and shown us the way. Increase our faith in you so that we will see more and more of your healing in the lives of those for whom we care.

HIV/AIDS & Drugs and HIV/AIDS Medication

 
“If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth shall set you free." John 8.32

Thank you Jesus, that you alone are able to set us free. We pray that all who are are battling with HIV/AIDS and drug addiction will learn how to hold fast to your teaching and come to glorious freedom in you.

“... May your love and your truth always protect me, O Lord, for troubles without number surround me; ... O Lord, come quickly to help me." Psalm 40 11.-13

Thank you Father, that each of us is your child. Let your love and truth surround all who have HIV/AIDS, who feel that troubles without number surround them. Come quickly Lord, to help them. May they rejoice again and be glad in you.

Lord, as we teach on HIV/AIDS, let us be teaching your way and walking in your truth. Let those who hear our teaching, be enabled to walk day by day in truth, and closer to you.

“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." Psalm 145.18

Thank you Father, that you are near to all who call on you in truth. Hear the cries of all those who are very ill with HIV/AIDS. Reach out your hand to touch and to heal all who call on you this day in Jesus name we pray.
