Each Prayer Diary has an overall theme, in this case
'My Help Comes From The Lord'
"I lift my eyes up to the hill - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 121. 1-2
For each day there is an overall HIV/AIDS topic to bring before God in intercession. This is followed by a passage from Scripture relating to the theme followed by a prayer to guide our intercession.
In the Prayer Diaries that we send out by email and post to our signed up intercessors, we include also, the details of the specific individuals and organisations who have requested that we intercede for them. These details have been removed from the this web version to protect the confidentiality of the individuals.
MONDAY

Thank you Jesus, that you hold each person in the palm of your hand. Lift them up Lord, by your Holy Spirit. Set them on their feet to live and work to your glory.

Women and Children affected by HIV/AIDS
"God is our refuge and strength, an everpresent help in trouble."
Psalm 46.1
Thank you Jesus, that you care for each man, woman and child, coping with HIV/AIDS. Thank you that you are our refuge and our help in trouble. Pour your healing on each one as they shelter in your arms.

Caring Groups
"There is no-one like the God of Jehusurun, who rides on the heavens to help you.... The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms."
Deuteronomy 33. 26-27
Lord, as we respond to people in need with HIV, help us to be aware of you 'riding in the heavens' to help each one in our care. Use our hands and feet, our minds and spirits for your healing to flow.

Father, we lift to you each one suffering from HIV/AIDS. Strengthen them Lord, with your Holy Spirit and uphold them with your right hand. Release your healing to body mind and spirit we pray.

Dear God, please bless all those who teach and lead your people. Anoint your leaders Lord, to teach your ways so that the tide of HIV/AIDS will be held back by men and women leading Godly lives for you..

Thank you Lord, that you came especially for those who have no-one to help them. Show us how to deliver the needy and help the afflicted. Let our hands become your hands, Lord.
